Default Looking to Buy 2016 GS F

Good Day All,

I am looking at a used 2016 GS F, one owner leased vehicle, clean inside and out with around 88K miles for just over 40K OTD price. Do any of you have experience purchasing this vehicle with such a high mileage and is it a good deal in your opinion? Thank you for all of your responses.

I bought my one-owner, 2016 last year for a listed price of $49k. It had 11k miles on it. I personally would pay a little more for less miles but $40k OTD gives you A LOT of car. There’s a guy on here that posted a pic of his dash that says 85k miles and no issues.

I would say high mileage like that isn’t really that high. The good thing is Lexus has very good reliability so you can count on it to be fine.

I think if it has a good service history, and does not need anything right away its a ok deal. There are few options around 45 and half of the miles, if I was in your shoes I would look at those instead. one of my friend told me that which around 90k miles they are going at auctions for low to mid 30s. just to give you an idea.

I think regardless of brand, 88k miles on a car that was likely taken to the track should be a careful purchase. Track miles put serious strain on the vehicle. And the GSF isn’t a typical Lexus that just sees highway/city cruising miles. If it was a GS300 I’d say go for it. You don’t have to worry about a used GS300 being taken to the track or raced on the street.

All I can say is WOW
A 4 year old car with 88k miles going for 40k bucks?

I bought mine 2 years ago with 20k miles for 45k bucks.
I love my country. These cars were selling for 100k right off the shelf back in 2016.

Not here in the US. It was easy to get one for $66k - $69k in October of 2016 here in Atlanta brand new.

That’s crazy! A new 2016 in California was pretty much $80-85k. You weren’t getting a new 2016 GSF for anything starting with a “6” with there being no used inventory established at the time. Even now the used 2019s in CA are around $75k used with lower miles.
