GSF vs Genesis G70 or G80
Looking at getting a used Lexus GSF. Has anyone compared the Lexus GSF to the Genesis G80 with 5.0 V8 or 3.3 turbo. Genesis G70 3.3 turbo.

never crossed my mind, Koreans update their car so much that in 4 years that would already have 2 more newer models out. Not a bad thing but I would be not happy about it. At least we know lexus won't do the same until 12 years Plus engines on these F cars are amazing and once of their kind. Looks at ISF still in demand.

Current G80 5.0 is way slower the GS-F for sure. Not only is it heavier, but the engine is also tuned for smooth cruising comfort and not performance, with less horsepower.
The new 2021 G80 might get a sport version that will have power on par with a GS-F, but it will still be using turbos. If what you want is naturally aspirated V8 performance, the GS-F is the last of its kind.

Test Drove Both. GS Black ?
Hey Guys, jumped over here in hope I'd see something on the 2020 GS Black Limited Edition they plan on closing out the model with. Any of you heard more than this?

Reason I ask is we're about to return my wife's 2017RX350 for one of these or a sweet GS. However, I was very impressed with the G70 and test drove it back to back w G80 one afternoon before this COVID hit. As said above, the G80 is NO WHERE near a true Sports Car! Much more luxurious inside and out. Sort of LS style. The G70 packs a TON of cool features into their varied models and yes they do make a RWD Sport Model w a manual transmission and even serious Michelin Pilot Sport 4S rubber too! True the Turbocharged engine can't touch Hp numbers to the GSF, but I must admit their pricing for a decked out G70 w every option is thousands less than Lexus, hell its thousands less than ny 2017 RCF - though I have about 10k in Mods too. Here's bottom line on G70.
Since it was going to be wife's car, I let her take it out w Sales Rep and the second she pulled back in and got out of it - she was shaking her head No and said she could literally tell the ride quality was WAYYY more offensive and rough than any Lexus - including mine in Sport + Mode! Therefore, back to "Build My GS" on their site and if I see more on this Black Edition (both RWD & AWD) In only two colors. Im going to snag one up from Brooklyn or Northern Virginia. Its sad to see them drop the line. Sorry guys. Hope you didn't mind me jumping in.
OP- If you get the opportunity to test drive a G70, do it. Its a pretty cool ride w tons of Ride Settings and creature comforts. He'll they even offer Pre Paid Maint for 3 yeats too. They're really trying,, but its still a Hyndai underneath the hood. Best of luck and hope you find a sweet GS Deal.
