Full Novel exhaust + headers
Earlier this year I installed novel headers and had them paired with my Bazooka exhaust. It sounded amazing but Bazooka has a deeper tone and I got novel headers for the higher pitch... so naturally I had to go full novel.
The exhaust is truly a work of art, I felt like it belonged hanging up on my wall rather than on the car.
Install took about 5 hours, including removing the Bazooka exhaust. There were no directions so we figured out ourselves where to route the vacuum lines from the rear to the engine bay. The unit only came with a manual wired toggle switch so I bought a wireless controller as I wanted a clean install without modification to my dash.
With valves closed there is absolutely no drone and the car is stock quiet even with headers... driving with windows up you can’t tell the car has aftermarket exhaust. With valves open there’s a very small amount of drone in the car however outside it’s extremely loud. It’s a very dynamic exhaust and resonates at certain frequencies that gives off a very high pitch, even at 2k RPM. On half throttle it gives a very clean sound but clearly projects each exhaust pulse and on WOT its raspier and just screams. Driving with windows down it sounds noticeably louder than PPE/Bazooka or Novel/Bazooka paired. I think that’s because the higher pitch. There isn’t as much power gains compared to PPE (have not dyno’d but just know through driving feel) but I have no regrets about that every time I drive the car and hear that sound.
Overall it’s a very steep price compared to other options but you get your money’s worth if sound is what you are going for.

Insane!!! Sounds very nice.
Are you sure they sound stock inside the car XD.
Sounds like the car is going 9000 rpm.
always wanted the Novel Exhaust/headers. Have the Novel lipkit with the Works VSTX to match.

Definitely the best sounding system on the market.

the headers you can hear in the car but the exhaust sound from the rear you can barely hear inside the car with valves closed, it’s amazing how well those mufflers work.

Car sounds as good as advertised. I’d love to see a back to back comparison of this setup over a stock dyno graph. But I doubt you did a before and after dyno unfortunately.
It definitely looks like it pulls stronger.

350/395 Meisterschaft mid pipe, RR intake, stock headers, no tune
379/428 PPE Headers, RR Racing Exhaust, RR intake, RR tune
I have not dyno with these headers and exhaust yet since I swapped from PPE headers but I can feel some power decrease from PPE to novel.

The sound is hard to capture on video, most cameras don’t pick up as much of the higher pitch sound, it’s much better and dynamic sounding in person.

Yup I’ve done a few dynos.
