I have seen some members here put 15mm or 20mm spacers on there GSF. I was wondering if adding this mod requires adjustments to the camber of the tires to prevent uneven ware? My second question is if 20mm are used, does this cause road debris to hit the rear fender wells? What are most peoples preference, 15mm, 20mm or 15mm on the front with 20mm on back?
For members reading this, there is a strong potential for new Tom’s GSF build coming soon.😎
I have installed 25mm in the front, and 20mm in the rear.
Yes, you will need to install an adjustable camber kit to prevent uneven wear on your rear tires.( even more so if you are lowered )
Yes, you will have debris hitting the rear and front side panels of your car.
YOu can get the Carbon Guards to help prevent debris from hitting your paint. Do a search in this forum. I have 20mm all around on mine. You don't need a camber kit. The spacer doesn't affect camber at all. It just moved the wheel outward. If you lower the car, you may need to get a replacement rear lower camber arm that is adjustable so you can bring the camber back into acceptable specs out back. Front it isn't necessary.
