Yes, I really miss it. My daughter’s E-Class and my previous C-Class Mercedes had it and I used it all the time. Quite convenient. It was not available on my’16 GSF. It’s the one feature I miss the most.
I pondered many times upgrading to a ‘19 or ‘20 but debated if it was worth the price for that feature and the adjustable suspension.

Found a relatively high mileage gs f for a decent price at a dealership, but it's not local to me. They sent me pictures today as none are posted. Clean car fax minus a lot of service on tires.. and in the pictures I noticed 3 different tires, and one of the (directional) tires appears to be backwards.
Should I run? Anything specific I should watch for? I'm assuming it'll need 4 new tires at around $1k, and probably brakes too, right?
I've seen mentions of checking Lexus driver. Do you just put in the target vin and look it up?

You really see some interesting things on Lexus drivers that carfax doesn't show. Looked up a 2018 for sale in Orlando that carfax shows no accidents. Towed with right side wheel damage. Owner states was hit from behind. Several other questionable things.

yes it holds the brake and you can remove your foot from the brake pedal lets say when come at a red light...once you push on gas the car moves, pretty common on lexus cars. Seems like the same thing you had in the amg

I would think using the rear brakes for traction control and other stability control features would have a bigger impact than the brake hold..... I could see it being possible though

not sure, but I used the brake hold in the LS460 for years and had no adverse impact in the rear brakes, I know because I changed them..the GSF system is probably similar.
Next to my GSF, I have a Porsche Macan with a brake hold feature...I'm not a fan. Idk if it's the same with Lexus, but the brake hold causes my rear brake pads to wear down much faster than my front pads. My Porsche mechanic said that each time the car goes from brake hold to acceleration the pad grinds against the rotor so brake wear is accelerated. He apparently sees a lot of Macans coming in only for rear brake jobs.

Its not a 100% mach but close enough. If the sun hits you can tell its little off. None of ones match the red form any seller I got a guy in china in the fb gsf forum. Was cheaper than elvin maybe 30% less and quality is just as good. His stuff comes frm china too
