Default Should I buy?? Would appreciate any feedback

Hello Everyone!!
I would love some feeback on this opportunity that recently came up. I've seen some of your input with others and the details you all have pointed out in other threads have been great, so I'm coming to yall for some assistance.
I've been wanting to get into a GS F since they were released. I have been very patient and waiting for the right time to buy.
My heart has been set on this color (ext and int). I have not seen many....
What are your thoughts?? Also, any experience with Carmax buys?
Thanks in advance!!

The front lip looks scraped, and the right rear rim may have some edge missing. The driver's seat looks stained or heavily treated. Only option I'm seeing missing are the painted calipers. I'm not a fan of Nebula Gray, looks like you are though, so enjoy!

I went through this process almost a year ago with CarMax; their return policy is quite generous so I would give it a shot and take it to a third-party inspector/shop (preferably someone familiar with GSFs). That's what I did with my first example and a few things came up that I didn't quite like, so I brought it back in a week no hassle at all. Best of luck.

I agree, their return policy is up to 30 days now. Hope it checks out good.

Heavy wear on driver side door arm rest and handle. Front drive seat and steering wheel look worn as well. Mostly cosmetic stuff from what I can see. It would be a good idea to take it to a Lexus dealer and have them look it over as well. I would suggest pulling up the service history as well while at the dealer too.

I suggest to look at the car in person as well. I have seen a lot of cars at Carmax that are not in great condition until you see them up close in person. I also strongly suggest getting a 3rd party Lexus / GSF specialist fully check out the car and provide you with a comprehensive report since I purchased an E92 M3 several years ago and had so many hidden issues with the car. Even though I did opt for the Carmax warranty at the time, it was still a hassle dealing with taking time off work to resolve car problems.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I had the car on hold and then went to purchase over the weekend. Considering it had 40k+ miles on it already I knew there was going to be some wear and tear. I am going to have someone else take a look at it this week. Super happy they allow 30 days to return. I am hoping it all checks out ok and I can hold on to it. But if there is something major going on that I cant see/tell, then carmax will be seeing this car again.
Since I am in So Cal, any chance you all can recommend someone near the Whittier area that you use as a trusted mechanic?
Thanks again
