Default GFS springs vs F-Sport

I’ve been in the market for lowering springs I was wondering if the GSF springs or just a different spring right or if they are actually lower. Had the thought to just put those in my F sport instead of going with aftermarket if it was what makes the GSF suspension different from an F sport. I did look up the parts and I know that they are a different part number from the base model and F sport. Just don’t know what the difference in spring rate is and or height. Almost inclined to just order those instead of Swifts or RSR‘s

My guess is the weight is the primary difference. THe GS-F has the heavier front end with the V8 vs the V6 for the F-Sport. The GS-F has a different trans, which is probably heavier and more cooling, which adds weight. Out back the GS-F has the TVD, which is a larger, beefier unit when compared to the F-Sport. Other than that, I don't think there are a lot of differences, but that weight may make a difference in how low the springs lower the F-Sport.

Out of curiosity, what are GSF springs going to run you? Swift and RSR springs are only a couple hundred bucks and many claim it’s a big improvement over OEM.

GSF Springs are about $100 apiece on average. Just under 400 for the side. My concern with the swift is an uneven drop creating a negative rake situation.
