So I have a custom carbon steering wheel from my GS350 f sport. Anybody have a clue if the electronics will work. Buttons have same functions for the most part, just different shape and locations. I may just have to pop it on and find out unless someone else out there has tried

Are you sure you can't just transfer the switch groups over to the F Sport steering wheel?

At least on the IS F, the switches are pretty modular and it might be possible to remove the module and rearrange them.

I don’t think so. The shape of it is different I believe. I know that IS, GSF, and RC all have the same looking switch group

Hi there, don't let the others confuse you.
You should be fine, 4th Gen GS cars share the same steering wheel wiring configuration.

Well update. Looks like a no go. Unless I really wanted to make it work. First, the rear plastic shroud of the wheel doesn’t fit. Most importantly the airbag doesn’t fit the GS350 plastic trim. It’s a much larger airbag. Assuming the controls did work, it could be done if you source the rear shroud and gs350 airbag. Considering the airbag on eBay is roughly $400 and god knows what amount from Lexus, might as well just get a new custom wheel. The more you know
