Maybe the street version is a good comprise?

With no kids I would go track version no question.
I run the Street variant — absolutely worth it. As a fellow father, I can say the increase in NVH, if any, is trivial. Straight braking and cornering is much improved, on both street and track.

You’ll only curse yourself for not doing it sooner.

I have a 3rd grader and a 4 year old I drive in my car regularly. They didn't like the Kein transmission mount, but they've never said a word about the spherical bearings I run in the front.

I purchased the street variant practically two weeks before RR announced the race variant, unfortunately. Do you have any concerns regarding the increased stress to other surrounding components due to the rigidity of the solid construction of the race variant? I don’t track often enough, yet, to really cry over it, but I did contemplate selling the street variant for quite some time before installing them.

Given how it attaches, no concern at all. The aluminum bracket holding the bearing would be the first thing to crack and die. Everything else is steel and likely to last forever and a day or two.

Thanks for the info! Did you get the street or the s&t version?

That’s what I was thinking, but wasn’t confident of at the time. Good to know… perhaps I’ll upgrade if I start tracking the car more regularly.
