Insane Dealer Markups in Los Angeles

Oh I thought you meant they didn't advertise it like how they did with the GSF
If I recall, the GSF was largely unknown. With the IS500 at least Lexus made the effort of getting it to automotive journalists, youtubers etc.

Ya you’re right. I do think that Lexus could do a better job of promoting the F line better.

I think the biggest mistake Lexus did back in 2016, was introducing the GSF to the world and didn't live up to people's expectations as far as performance was concerned.
By saying that, I mean that the GSF did not come close to the performance numbers of the M5, E63, and CTSV models. It didn't matter how competitively priced it was, it just wasn't attractive to that market segment.
Now fast forward to 2022, this IS500 is meant to compete with the 3 series and C class higher-end models (Non-performance versions).
I am guessing Lexus has a new line of F performance cars coming out in the future? Ones that will go toe to toe with the M5 and E63, and also the C63 and M3.
I don't see that happening without a hybrid or force-induced power unit.
