For those with the Apexi resonated cat back exhaust
#16
OK so forgot to get a before video, but will upload an after this week. First impressions are its not that much louder (resonated midpipe with apex'i axleback), especially on the inside. Its louder on start up from the outside (more aggressive but not obnoxious). Not much change from just the Apex'i axleback on startup inside. Over 3500 rpm its louder (again not much louder) and sounds much smoother.
I'd say overall its exactly what I wanted - a bit more at the higher end of the rpm range, louder on the outside, and not much louder below 3500 rpm. Hope this helps y'all.

Thanks for the review, I may go that route as well.

Only thing to keep in mind is the drone from the Apex'i axleback around 1700-2000 rpm. That's still present, though I don't feel like it worsened. Glad to help!

Damn. I installed this on Friday and having a hard time adjusting to exactly that. Super loud at 1700-2000. Might have to pull it off if I don’t get used to it.

Took a few weeks to get used to but doesn’t bother me anymore. Went through the exact same thing last summer, also thought about pulling it off. Doesn’t really bother me anymore, only on really cold days when it’s at its worst, or slow city driving.

Apexi will drone a little more than the Toms/Apexi combo. Full apexi exhaust is a bit louder too.
