Default Lexus GS-f exhaust whistle

So my gs-f had the greddy axleback exhaust on when I bought it and when you get on the gas it had a screaming sound. Checked out some videos on YouTube and seen that it was common with the greddy so I took it to a shop and did a muffler delete on it thinking it would go away but now it has a higher pitch scream when you get on the gas🤦🏽‍♂️. Could this just be due to the tips? Ik it doesn’t sound likely but it’s got me confused.

***Update: see post 20 also replaced muffler delete with revel axleback and when I had the muffler off I noticed more spots where they didn’t complete the weld around exhaust***

Are you certain there isn't an exhaust leak?

I've never heard of an exhaust whistle. Are you sure it's not on the intake side?

i just assumed it was the exhaust because I noticed it after I got my muffler delete. Ima check the intake to see if that’s it. You have an idea what I could look for?

Anything that would cause turbulence, a screw on the throttle blade could cause a whistle.

It’s actually doesn’t start making that sound until the secondary intake opens up around 4500rpm I think it’s related to that

Bad design. Simple.

I had it in my car and took it off immediately. The screaming ( horror movie noise ) sound along with the stained outer tips was enough proof of bad pipe design.
The product looks good but performs bad, ( hint: why it's the cheapest axle back in the market )

Contacted Greddy and was informed that this axle-back system needs to be mated with an x-pipe for it to work properly. I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
Greddy doesn't even offer an x-pipe!!

I also looked underneath and noticed that the Greddy pipe diameter was smaller than my current Tanabe axle-back system.

I wish I could help you more but the truth of the matter is, it needs to be removed or add an x-pipe and wish what they claim is true.

😂😂 **** definitely sounds like a horror movie scream I floored it under a tunnel and was highly disappointed that’s why I cut the mufflers off and just straight piped it and the loud scream went away but now it’s like a low pitch whistle compared to how it was with the greddy muffler. I did use the greddy tips after I got a muffler delete that’s why I feel like it might be that. I’m looking into the apexi’s now tho

I also checked the vacuum lines from the intake and they don’t look to be damaged or loose idk what it is
