Switching GSF Rear Differential Gears, IS it possible?
Hello my fellow Lexus friends. I love my gsf but i feel the gears are way to long and that takes away from the in town driving experiance.
Is there a way to change the gear ration of the tvd to get better acceleration and shorter gears?? I know for the ISF people put the gs450 diff in and it made a huge difference in acceleration
Can that be done for the gsf rcf? Or can a custom geared diff be ordered?

Anything is possible. But nothing will be easy with the TVD diff. Alternate ratios might be available (but it's hard to be sure since the spool and gears are not available from Lexus separately), and installing them will be an exercise in patience to get the fitment correct. Hopefully you also understand this will only impact your idle to redline in first gear. Once you get to the meat of the powerband (and stay there), gearing is inconsequential because we have 8 fairly closely spaced ratios.
One of the IS F guys on Club Lexus have installed a GS450 diff that I know about. Most tried the IS350 and pulled it out because it was too low. The guy running the 3.70 diff is focused on drag racing, and it makes sense for that. Not sure I'd want to drop the gearing in the GS F.
