Default 2020 GS F in Flare Yellow

http://www.netcarshowroom.com/vehicl...tx-id-47361130

Found this for sale in Houston. $82,999. Only 7,812 miles and supposedly the only Flare Yellow GS F built in 2020 (out of only 127 total GS Fs).

Only one I heard of being Flare Yellow was a press car. This might be it

I feel like the price is still too high even though there's a chance this car could be a collector's item one day.

Yeah this one is too high, the dealer is definitely banking on color rarity. For me personally a pass, it's had 4 owners already, gee.

Are you in Dallas? I have never seen a yellow in person.

Congrats!!! I saw the listing disappeared in short order. I am on the search for a GSF myself so I keep a close eye on the active listings these days. Would love to see some pictures of the yellow because, as other folks have noted, there aren't many to see in person.

The white GSF in Milwaukee used to be mine. Has PPF and is in excellent condition. Buy it and drive it back to Texas where it belongs

Thanks and cheers! Absolutely I’m going to take a ton of pictures. It’s even better in person TBH. I am so impressed by the driving experience and luxury combination that I’m just lost at why Lexus stopped producing the GS F.

This one also has full body PPF. I can’t imagine selling this car ever, the white one is also VERY good looking!

Small world! I’m in the Dallas area too and will keep an eye out.

I also had the same thought after test driving one yesterday. I get the market is small and shrinking, but it is baffling to me that only 100-200 were made per year and they still had issues selling.

It's simple really - bad combination of marketing plus higher asking price vs the competition.

- 99% of automotive journalist unfairly compared it to the M5, RS6, CTS V, and AMG E63. All those vehicles outperform the GS F in regards to lap times and straight line performance. Naturally, being that the F cars are the apex of any Lexus line up, people automatically assumed it was made to compete with the aforementioned sedans. On top of that, Lexus didn't do a good job of marketing the vehicle. What the GS F competed with was against the vehicles directly beneath the RS, M, and AMG. Unfortunately for them, all of those vehicles had an MSRP of about 10k less and similar performance. So naturally, the GS F was doomed to fail from the get go in a way. Your average consumer doesn't care for reliability and resale value as is present in the GS F. They just care about the specs and price, probably specs above all else.

Lexus marketing of all the F cars has been nothing short of confusing and frustrating to those of us who know the real value of these cars.
