You probably have a significant damage that tweaked the geometry of the frame.

Also check to make sure the spring is sitting on the perch correctly on the side that is higher.

Try re-torque the suspension nuts/bolts with the suspension loaded (can use a car jack)

Go back to your repair shop and let them fix this issue.
I don't recommend you try to find out what is going on.

This definitely seems odd. Especially since the Variable Suspension is only for adjustable damping I believe, so height should not be effected by that. I think you might have some frame damage or something else going on.

How bad was the accident?

Get some coil overs and adjust height, problem solved.(cheap) route.
it’s probably your suspension and or frame which is off. I would just bug the insurance to get it addressed since it’s not factory spec
