My Pass mirror won't go left/right. I just leave it fixed position. I'm waiting for the Drivers to go so I can get it done under my Extended service Contract. I don't want to do the repair 2x's with a $100 per shop visit.

Mine were about 2 years apart. Both were covered under a zero deductible extended warranty that just paid for itself - barely. The wife insisted on it when she bought the car. I think I need to do some homework on sourcing a proper replacement for these little buggers.

I agree, need to find a spare set of Gears that match and save for later. I think that Auto down function in Reverse really makes the motor/gears get more used that it should. I cut that off too.

Who would ever think the day would come when one Mirror replacement would cost so much money? I think you can just about have the whole new door replaced and painted for the cost of just one mirror. lol!
