How is this mount working out so far? I am interested in one. Can you tell me what brand and model? Thanks.

Brand name is ZeeHoo. One of those ‘knock off’ on amazon but it works well. If i was in the market for another, I’d try Spigen MagSafe. It’s smaller. I use Waze app so having phone charged is great.

Planning on it. Wanted to de-chrome window trims but was quoted $600 to do all four doors. Felt that was a rip off so going to try it on my own first. Debating matte vs. satin black vinyl. Any recommendation?

$600 is definitely a rip off. Should be closer to $300.
Satin black is a good choice, shows less fingerprints, has a nice sheen as opposed to matte black and it flows with your satin finish GS F.
Gloss black is nice as well, personally I would do it if mine were satin wrapped.

Update: Ended up going with DIY vinyl kit from Amazon for $40. Came out ‘OK’ but i can’t see edges lasting long. For now, it’s much better than $600 professional job! Went with gloss black which contrasts matte paint finish.

I wonder how the window trims would looks like with the color matching the goldish chrome finish of the grill

For me, knowing how rare this edition is (1 of 100), that alone was enough to buy this car. i think there are 2 currently on sale (at least on autotrader). Not sure of their o condition but if price is right and condition checks out, I’d definitely consider it. For the longest item, i was looking for white/red color combo GS F but very glad i went with this edition.
Yeah - so I had mine full wrapped SatinGuard Matte PPF at AutoDetailer Studio here in Malaysia- saves a lot of anguish from stone chips, water marks and bird poop.

sorry I have no intention of selling! Just curious why he asked.

so recently got 30k service done. Put in close to 7k miles in 6 months which was more than expected but enjoying very much. Love that I rarely see GSF on the road. Hope to keep it that way!

Having two issues. Curious if others are seeing similar.

1. sunroof squeaks a lot when cold in the morning. Goes away if I open the sunroof or drive for awhile. Seems roof structure is causing this. Dealer said no issues to address. Not sure I buy it…

2. hearing high pitch noise from serpentine belt by the pulley. Dealer checked it out and says ‘it’s normal’. It’s more squeaking noise that’s noticeable at idle. Thinking of getting second opinion at another local dealership. I have a video but not sure how to post.

thoughts?

Use 3M dry silicone on the sunroof seal. I use it about every 6 months on the sunroof and door seals. Keeps the cabin very quiet.

Pulley noise is actually normal. Sad but true.
