Does anyone know which GROM unit I can order for a 2016 GSF? I am looking for a unit with wired/wireless apple carplay. I did some forum searching but it's not clear.

I asked the dealership and they refused to install such tech. I guess I should go to an audio installer?

do not go with GROM , Ive had both Grom and Beat-sonic - Grom has a ton of issues . Beat-sonic is flawless

Really? The forum posts I see seem to denote otherwise. I think I found the Grom unit I was looking for: [here] The downside in the review is that you have to press the map button for 30 seconds to launch carplay. I guess beatsonic is nice because it's backed by the Forum Sponsor and I've dealt with them before, they have excellent support. Beatsonic is however more expensive by almost $100.

It works great for the first 2 months - if you live in a hot climate one of the internal pieces starts to go bad - they sent me a replacement - i changed it out , worked great again for 2 months and then it started to flicker when going over bumps , , it would randomly freeze , they told me to do the newest update I did , they made me change a bunch of setting i did , all this over Email, you wont ever be able to get them on the phone , been dealing with this issue for 8 months now , changing setting , replacing chips , all this crap - they wont send me a replacement . My beat-sonic was flawless, they pick up the phone when you call , its easier to navigate and also doesn't require updates monthly , ive had the Beat-sonic in my LX for 2 years Never a issue - 8 months in my GSF and im ready to rip it out and take that loss and throw in a beat-sonic .

I've had my beat-sonic for more than 2 years now in my GSF and never had an issue with it. Works perfect every time and seems that it is part of the original setup the way it integrates with the existing infotainment system. Never tried the Grom, but based on my experience with Beat-Sonic, I would never try anything else.

PS. their customer support is also excellent; when I first got mine, I had a couple of inquiries and contacted them and they responded promptly and answered all of my questions

mine does. i don't know if they developed a wireless one.
