Default GSF floor jack

Can anyone recommend a low profile floor jack that will allow me to get to the front jack point on the gsf? All of the jacks I’ve used have rear ends that are too thick to get far enough under the front of the car to access the front jack point shown in the manual.

I don't think you'll find many that can do it. Jack up the side first, either use an extra floor jack to get the front, or rest the side on a jack stand, then jack up the front.

You can also jack up the side an place a race ramp under the tire, or drive onto ramps to start with.

Good info in my other post here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...d-picture.html

Use some low profile race ramps and then jack up the front. Actually you can buy the Megan 3 inch helper ramps and drive up all 4 wheels. Then use the front jacking point on the subframe and some jack stands up front and the rear diff jacking point out back with 2 more jack stands.

Thank you. I had heard stories about ramps cracking or breaking, so I’ve never tried them. I’ll check these Megan Racing ramps out. I watched a YouTuber destroy the side of of his GSF by using the wrong jack points on the side of the car, so I’d like to just use the front.

I use these. Cheaper than Megan ramps and 1 piece. One thing to note you will have to put something under them to help keep them from shooting out from under the car when you drive up them if using all 4 at the same time. I have to use these so I can get the car up on the lift. They are only 3" tall.

I made these pretty quickly from a 10 foot 2x10 and some deck screws. They get the front up enough to get my 3 ton jack underneath easily. If I don't want to drive over them, I can always lift from the side and slide one under a front wheel to get enough height to put the jack under the front in the center.

I have this one, but it’s quite pricey

He made a huge mistake putting the back of the car in the air first and then jacking up the front. You always jack up the front first.
