I think he just meant from a very non-technical basis that the Tom’s performance overall is a good replacement for OEM if the squeel and brake dust are more of a headache where you would prefer to sacrifice ultimate OEM performance. It would be awesome to see a performance graph like that for the Tom’s.

 

I just put Tom's pads on all around and there is much less squeaking and dust. Still some squeaking on cold mornings, but goes away quickly. I do not track the car and do not intend to.

 

Yes, squeaks cut almost by half BUT 90% of brake dust gone! 👍🏽
