Hello everyone, just wanted to pop on here and give some info about a recent experience I had. I saw this low mile GSF in the color combo I wanted online so decided I was going to pull the trigger on it and had it shipped to DC area from Oklahoma. Well in transit it was damaged and undisclosed at first but I went by the lot to see why I had not been notified the car was here and I found the damage to the driver quarter panel. They scheduled a showing but on day if they called and said there was a dent and it was at the body shop. I wasn’t going to lay almost 71k for a car with some damage like that but I wanted to see the quality of work and if it was good I may have done it but the workmanship just was not there. Wanted to get the word out in case anyone was thinking about paying for shipping and not completely knowing what you were getting. Take care everyone!
Woah, I got mine a few weeks ago with minor damage at 50k; there were dings to the lip and front bumper. 71k is a lot for me and would totally affect my decision. Thanks for sharing!
I would look at this one which is certified pre-owned and one owner. The maintenance records are clean as well on Lexus driver. You may be able to have the car shipped to a local Koons dealer since most of their locations are in the DC region.

I have pictures and videos of that car when it first arrived, and it was a really rough shape. Let me know if you want me to share them.
The dealer is also unwilling to remove the roof wrap prior to purchase - I suspect paint damage. All wheels look to have damage and the last owner had damaged tires 4 or 5 times. Car just looks neglected.

thanks for that, I was thinking of just tabling it for a little while and if one just happens to find me I’ll jump on it. I’m in no hurry even though I really like the car I don’t want to rush into something just for the sake of having one. Thanks again for returning the favor of saving me the headache lol.
Thanks for posting this OP. We were about to drive 40 min from MD to go see this in Potomac Mills tomorrow. You saved us a trip.
I was debating posting it, but If I can save someone some frustration and money then I am happy I did. Or at least manage expectations so someone knows what they are getting and if they still want to take the time then at least they are informed.

Thanks for the heads up. It looked relatively clean in the pictures. It also has snow tires on it which would need to be swapped out.
