VIDEO: 2013 GS F SPORT - Acceleration & Sound
Here's some video I captured of the new GS 350 F SPORT in Sport mode. Sport+ wasn't necessary as I only needed to capture the quick up and downshifts, the throttle blipping, and of course the sound! Notice the 3 flash turn signal action and the heads up display which displays more than just the speed and radio station channels...it finally has a tach!

Just a question. I've been reading about how good the 6-speed auto in the GT86 is and apparently it's a modified version of the 8-speed auto of the IS-F. Current reviews have also favorably rated the 6-speed in the 4GS.
Is the 6-speed automatic of the 4GS and GT86 the same? It would be great if the 4GS transmission was a modified version of the ISF's.

The 6spd Auto in the New GS 350 is the A760E (RWD) and A760H (AWD)...they are revised versions found in the previous 3rd Gen GS. The 8spd Auto in the IS F is a retuned AA80E used in the GS 460 and LS 460.
As for the Auto in the new 86/FR-S/BRZ i believe the transmissions are all new or evolutions of existing 6spd autos. Aisin makes several different 6 speed autos for Toyota/Lexus and different manufacturers. As for it being the same with the new GS, it's probably not likely.
As for the throttle blipping on downshift, the new GS 350 does that well...and surprisingly the new 2012 Camry SE.
