Default Dual Pane Windows

I remember checking out a 4GS Luxury and noticed that the front driver window is dual-pane.

Upon taking delivery of my 4GS Premium, I noticed that my front driver window is single-pane.

After researching Lexus.com, I am unable to find any documentation for dual-pane windows on the 4GS.

For folks with the F-Sport, is your front driver window single or dual pane?

to the other folks: very simple .. my ls430 since it was not an ultra luxury or custom lux just a modern luxury (still has nav, parking sensors, smart key etc it didnt come with it... just a standard option for a more expensive 4GS

Out of curiousity, how can we tell? I rolled the window down and looked carfully and it didn't look like it was double paned or had any form of laminate. I have an F-Sport AWD made for the Canadian market.

Yeah, curious myself. F-Sport American market and it looks like a regular glass window to me. Maybe I need to look a little bit harder. It was a little dark tonight.

It's very obvious on the Luxury, as the window is twice as thick and you can see the two layers of glass.

Yes, my luxury seems to be dual pane. Very thick. That explains why my car is so quiet and can't hear anything.

This post made me laugh! Because I went to my car about 5 minutes before I posted to check out the windows in the dark. And then when I saw your post minutes after mine, I imagined you doing the exact same thing at almost the same time.

All: I checked the car this morning - and the front windows look noticeably thicker than the rear. I guess that means it's double paned?

I think it's just the front windows. I didn't see the double pane, but my front is noticeably thicker than my back.

The front windows are thicker than the rear but I doubt they are dual pane. The edges look like regular to me.
