Just another JDM Fog Light Mod Completed...
My notes:
- You only need the bottom holes of the fog light to mount on the bumper. If your trying to piece meal this off of ebay, this may save you a few bucks.
- I routed my wire harness across the bottom of the front bumper. This gave me enough slack across both ends.
- I temporarily hooked up power to the ignition. I may go back and link it to when the parking/low beams are on. See this thread for info: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...g-diagram.html
Enough writing, here are some pics:
Yes its a bug and I need to clean my car!
Driver side installed!
Passenger side exposed:
Passenger installed:
Lots of space once the plastic coverings are removed:
Money shot:

How about the harness, which one did you used? And where did you mount the switch?
Thanks.

Venza, Camry, corolla, etc. They all use the same fog lamp.
For the wire harness I went semi fancy and got the harness that uses a remote control to activate. I was too lazy to run a switch into the cabin but looking back at it I could of done that easily also.
Do a search on eBay on remote control fog light harness and you will find the one I used.

F-Sport with Fog Light is looking good.
If you are looking to save some money, the OEM STYLE fog lamp housing from us will fit on the NEW GS F-Sport and it will save you some money.
Option 4 & 5 come with OEM STYLE fog lamp housing.

Finally if I choose option 2, what kind of switch does it come with? Do you have a pic? Thanks.

My question also. Since I am thinking about doing HID. Do I really need the Lexus fogs or is the OEM style good enough?

Do you have the LED reflector for rear bumper?

...I'm thinking of putting in HID bulbs for the fogs, are OEM style fog lamp housing able to withstand the extra heat? What about the harness? Are those made to withstand the extra voltage required for a HID setup?
