lmao i cant believe i just said that

yeah but still they need to give the key a little bit more detail and attention to the key. The key they give with it is a key you'd expect to see on a 30k car, not a 50k+ car

The LFA has an actual key because it was a 10 year product. By the time they were done with it, remote key fobs were standard throughout the lexus mainstream line, but they didn't want to redo the key/ignition system. So slap some CF on it and call it special

Well $160 is more realistic. We were at a dealer sponsored lunch and winery tour and the sales rep was answering our question at our table and he mentioned that the keyless remote is $800 to replace. Right now I am frighten to leave the remote in a jacket pocket.

The sales rep doesn't know what he's talking about. Some salespeople love to hear themselves talk, whether they know what they're talking about or not.

Thanks, the $225 price tag is easier to swallow. Also had my eye on the remote engine start. BTW no sign of the remote key card, one people at the table had one for his RX I think.

The key to the Lexus GS is really lame-image.jpg

They could have done worse.

While we're talking about little things, couldn't they make the lug nuts platinum coated. They look cheap as well.

I've had a LOT of luxury car keys and found BMW keys to be generally nicest but the Lexus key is fine. The Benz key is extremely dated and VERY heavy

In summary. Who cares?

Both are better than the key fob I had for my Infiniti coupe.

Everything about infiniti is just

terrible car company. I'd never think about owning a car from them. Their key fob is the same one they use for the nissan keys, just a different logo

My dad feels the same way. He hates Infiniti. Idk why but he does. He said he would rather ride a bike or walk then drive a Infiniti. lol.
