My OCD 25k interior...
nothing annoys me more than when seats and steering wheels of a brand new car lose the new leather matte finish and get shiny. I've seen cars with 10k miles have extremely shiny and worn out seats and steering wheels. From day 1 of driving my GS350, I've always made sure to wash my hands before i drive, and done a thorough interior wipe down weekly with Meguiars QID and applied leather masters cleaner and conditions once every 5-6 months.
the result? my interior at 25k miles.
i always wear jeans, and because of this cleaning regimen, no dye transfer either to my light colored seats. My car is a lease however and goes back in March, so all this work for a car that I'm just renting, but hey, whatever makes me happy right?

I'm OCD as well and I'm leasing too!
I washed my hands and sanitize them before I touched the car, detail it daily when I can. OK I'm kidding about the sanitizing part.
To me when I'm paying this much for a car (or any car that I worked hard for) it better be in like new condition until the day I trade it in. That's just me.

Very nice! I keep moist hand towels to wash my hands if they're grubby, especially after eating. I'm far from OCD about this stuff but regular mild cleaning is less total work over time, plus you get to enjoy an always clean interior.
I spent a career in the auto service bizz. Dirty interiors were tolerable if they didn't smell too bad. But nasty sticky steering wheels creeped me out. Or old velour seats stiffened from old sweat and other stuff, gack! Wow, I may indeed be OCD about this after all...

i have no issue keeping the car clean for the next person that will own this
it's just more enjoyable for me driving a car that's clean..that's all.
FYI this is just about 15 min a week cleaning and wiping down the interior, and i get the exterior gets washed every 2 weeks...
