Default exchanging full interior

i was wondering if anybody has ever completely taken out their full interior and put it back together. A buddy wants my tan interior and i want his grey interior and we are thinking about doing a full exchange. How much work is it gonnna take. my full concern is the vin plate, the headliner and the dash. Is this a possible job or should we just ditch the plan thanks.

I think if you start on Friday and take your time both cars should be ready by Sunday night.

its definately possible, but its a ton of work...especially since you need to take 2 cars apart and put 2 cars back together....if i remember when my brother and i did the 1st switch from the blk gs to the blue gs it took us like 4 hours to do the seats, rear deck, pillars, door panels, door seals/trim and seat belts. we didn't do the dash or headliner or rug but everything else basically. and that us just taking from the blue car and and putting everything back right in the blk car, we just through the seats in the blue car and everything else was loose since the tow truck was coming we didn't have time to put the blue car togther. i did it later the next day and i took me another 1.5 hours to it back together. so i honestly think you have about 2 days or more of full work to complete the swap and put everything in right in both cars i think you might need 3 days to be honest.

i just bought a blk oem dash cus i didn't like how my dash came out after it was dyed. so i'll know how hard it is for just the dash when i swap it out hopefully this weekend. doesn't look hard from what i see. the VIN is on the frame not the dash. good luck to you..

You see that's the one part I really didn't want to remove.
