Default new suspension

Just finished installing my new Bilstein sport/L-Sportline(Eibach sportlines) setup. The Bilsteins had three mounting perchs. I used the top perch for the rear shocks and the middle perch for the front shocks. Here is a before picture.

Took about 4.0 hours to remove and install. That's not including the time it took to put together each shock/spring setup. Here is a poor picture of the stock vs new front setup. The new springs have more coils and are spced closer together.

I really don't see any difference in drop. I bet it sure handles much better though.

The drop is about 1". I measured from the centre of the wheel cap to the highest point on the fender lip.

Stock ->15"
new -> 14"

Surprisingly the ride is not as harsh as I was expecting. Handling has obviously improved but hard to say how much better it is. I find the seats are not condusive to spiritted driving, especially if you are of slight frame like myself. Maybe that'll be my next upgrade???

You Could Get A Better Idea Of The Drop If It Had Some Wheels. But We All Know What Lowering A Car Leads To. A 2nd Mortgage (lol
