Default *HELP* Where does the remote wire go for aftermarket amp? Kicker sub with stock HU,ML

Hey guys I know this is supposed to go in the audio section but no responses so anyways I'm just curious where the remote start 12v wire goes for my american bass amp. I really dont want to get to the back of my HU and plus it has Nav. I was curious if i can accsess a wire of some sort in the back of the trunk.

You can find an open auxiliary slot on your fuse box that turns on and off with your ignition. Use a spade connector and stick it in the slot and there you go. Just use a tester and while placing it in the slot, turn the key on and off until you find one that is triggered by the key and not a constant.

correct, but make sure its an ignition space cause a lot of them (or most) are all hot to where its on all the time. and remember one side will be dead and the other will be either hot or connected to your ignition.

Definitely the right way. I would also recommend that you use a relay if you ever plan on upgrading with additional amps. Makes it super easy to flip on multiple amps with a simple click of the ignition without overloading a circuit.
