Tony, I had left you a message a few weeks ago about your wraps. Since you no longer do this how about a tutorial for us on how to do this. I have also looked at the 3M Di-NOC dry carbon but have not had a sample in my hand.

I don't think you want to clear coat the vinyl because it is thicker than actual carbon fiber and there are more gaps in between the weaves. So when the clear dries it would leave residue everywhere. I've used it several times on other's trunks that I have worked on. Just be sure to use the best adheasive spray. I use the 3M spray.

it does with some parts. i usually sand down 1/8 of an inch or less considering the gap that is there to begin with. the trick is to pull tight the edges but not too tight as to make the weave non-uniform. it took me a while to get it right but once you get a hang of it the process comes naturally just have to spend ALOT of time sanding in between.

and i just realized the length of the carbon weave is 11.8" wide and 39.4" long which probably wont be enough for what i need. i thought it said 11.8' by 39.4".....know any place locally i can some fabric so i dont have to order from across the pond again
