Ok so I'm still stuck in limbo about my 100% plans for the year because i'm sure by March I will change my mind again. The only thing I am 100% on is getting a nice set of coilovers so i can get rid of the gap left by my Megan Racing springs. (i rly thought it would be lower ) but let me know wat you think or wat i shuld do next... enjoy













oh yea i'm not sure how well u guys can see the pics but im def getting my whole car repainted because of the annoying scratches, dents, rock chips, and acidic bird crap! plus the red brakes are sooo 2009, once i feel like taking the rims off i will paint those black, plus after the paint job i will get rid of my collection of front plates.

I like it besides the gap under the grill and the tails. U should either get some newer tails or the led ones. Once u lower it some more will deff look a lot better. I love the g35 wheels. Did you paint them yourself?

 

everythings good besides that gap on the grill n lower it more when you get your megans...im still waiting on mine...but other then that everything is good...keep us updated when you get the new paint job

I think you need the coils.. I'm surprised your not lower on the springs.. Some springs give you that tuck effect but i guess not these... Check out the K-sports.. Those seem pretty good quality for the money..

 

I would paint the car and get rid of the rock chips on front of the car.

To the OP, those Megan springs did not lower your car a lot and I suggest going with coilovers. And buff them headlights too!

i do kinda want the 01+ tails but becuz i hav bigger problems lyk the repaint and getting my timing belt changed im jus gonna wait it out...as for the wheels, yes i did paint them myself . i thought about paying sum1 to paint them but then realized i culd jus do it myself. its not that hard especially for one color

im surprised bout the springs to when i put them on it took me a while to rly see the drop but then i looked at sum old pics and was lyk DAMN my car was high. plus the thickness of the tires culd make a difference but im def jus gonna get coils. makes life a lot simpler.

Wow the car looks great plus keep the euro plate, looks good! I've got the jap plates on my gs and my euro plate on my ls

 

Also I'd look for a lip kit since the repaint is coming soon! And +1 with the new tails for later on!

 

I suggest doing research and alot of it

If you go coils , If you drive low and I mean really low , I have met a member with JIC who could blow them out in 1500 miles, then again met members who don't drive that low and get over 90k out of them too

On the other hand "air" can be a really expensive game. I have replaced alot of parts and it can be expensive.

sounds like you are going the most cost effective way of building your car and set of tein or Megans might be an option for ya

yea i def want a the tte lip. but hopefully in all due time. it was sum1 selling sum 01+ tails on here but i cant fence that now. i jus brought a downpipe n its jus chilling on my bedroom floor begging me to install it. lol.

and VipDout, i love my eyelids. i respect ur opinion but i def jus put those on. LOL. its cool tho. everyone has their own style. BTW ur GS is SICK!!

 

01+ tail lights, maybe some darker tint to go along with the blacked out theme?
