The inside of the bowls had a few water spots but nothing that I think would have effected the light output.

Reflector mounted

Maybe I missed something but it doesn't appear that the LuxuryMods brackets include a spot to mount the OEM level bubble for the low beams.

The Q45 projector sticks out the back by nearly 2 inches more than the OEM projector. Because of this, the OEM cover doesn't fit anymore. Not sure what I'm going to do to cover this up.

Very, very nice transformation. Looking forward in seeing how they look and the output when completed.

I used a small rubbermaid/Tupperware style plastic container, trimmed the stock cover to just a ring and used a puddy to join the two together. So it fits just like the stock cover, but it's about 2" deep so it covers the bulb and ballast sticking out the back.

Nice work, looks exactly like mine except the painted factory bezels. I used the LM brackets as well, didn't feel like the factory bowls were gonna be solid enough to support everything once I cut them out to fit the projector.

I used some plastic piping end pieces from a hardware store to cover up the back, don't remember the specifics on them. I just siliconed them on real well, I'll have to reseal them if I need to change bulbs but that was the simplest way I came up with at that moment.

My cutoff isn't razor sharp but it doesn't really bother me, I think with the 7 lenses it won't ever be as sharp as many projectors. I guess it's the trade-off for the unique look. The output is still significantly better than that of the stock GS HID's IMO.

I was brainstorming a solution to this problem earlier and came up with something similar. The tupperware container idea is perfect though. Thanks for passing that along!

I fully re-assembled the driver side headlight today and reinstalled it on the car. I'm in the middle of polishing the lens; once I finish that tomorrow I will post updated pictures of the progress.
