Default whats a complete black interior swap worth?

I know black interiors are a hot item for the 2nd gen GS. Whats a fair price for a complete interior swap. I mean complete too, seat belts, dash, steering wheel, everything?

I have an opportunity to pick up a complete car with blown motor.
Just trying to see if its worth the investment.

Jeff.. for your car, no matter the cost of the doner, its a worthy investment..

Since you are getting the dash, carpet, and column, plus all the basics like seats and door trim.. maybe $2.5K>?

I saw on eBay a while ago this dude had for $600 black interior just seats, door panels, console, dash, and vents. I was a tool for not jumping on it, he was in my state.
It seems like there are sooooo many tans out there.

yeah but dealerships want like $1400+ for the carpet and no, im not kidding

....and most junkyards want way to much for them also. not to mention all the little things (AKA hard to get things) would cost alot to get....

Depending on if it is a perfect interior would vary the price a bit. Alot of the seats are cracking badly in these cars as they rise in age. So a perfect set of seats would probably bring a good amount alone.

ditto..

One of the main reasons (among others) I started looking to get a GS in the first place was because they were offered in pure black interior. Not dark graphite, charcoal, or similar close to black colors other manufactures offer.

I made a hand shake deal with the guy today to pick up the whole car. The interior is real freakin clean, and the car has 180k on it. Its amazing how well the interior held up. Im supposed to go pick it up on monday or tuesday, gotta borrow a trailer and get it lined up.

Now the question is what to do with the rest of the car. It has no paint work, all panels have vin#'s, new tires, pretty damn clean. I can either drop a stock motor in it and have a daily driver. I can let it sit and save up for a GTE and 6 spd swap. Or I can sell it after I swap my grey interior into it.

what to do, what to do!!

Im stoked, that black is going to look goooood in my TT Beast!

Reading this makes me really glad I lucked out and found a black interior sportdesign. I couldn't be happier with it.

If I didn't have the black leather I don't know how I would feel about my car. It's one of the nicest things about it. Every time I sit in my car I smile. I would do the swap in a heartbeat!
