So here is what I get for $, elbow grease, and research (minor build thread)
Well Im finally ready to show you guys what I bought after 5 days. I spent months on Club lexus, craigslist, and auto trader. I decided the car had to be either black or silver exterior and had to have black interior. Also had to be a gs400.
So you start with this Oem.
And after finding a car in an enviornment it doesn't need to be in you get this.
I got it home after spending the gas money to drive up and get it and drive back down. Ripped off the front bumper, almost didnt want to save it but it was geniune vertex from japan. So the elbo grease starts here. Oh and I bought the rims I had you guys poll on and installed them. I purchased them prior to actually getting the car. Here they are installed and riding way to high.
So I repainted and repaired the vertx front bumper. 8 hours of labor.
I installed some drop springs and trimmed them a little as well since I knew from my research that the k-sport springs still didnt drop the car enough. About 6hrs labor there. (one of the worst strut and spring removals I have ever done).
And I finished with this after 15hrs or so all shined up.
Thats the fat tire set up in the rear 295/30/19.
Here is an interior shot.
What do you guys think was it a good purchase? LoL I love it.

Good job on the resto. As far as good buy, if it's an authentic Vertex as you mentioned, the kit alone is over $2k, so I'd say you got a good deal, since you said the front bumper was damaged after you bought the car while in your possession, right? If it was damaged before you got it, then maybe not that great a deal. Regardless, you have a pretty nice ride for a pretty good price.

vertex was damaged before I bought it, it has the vertex inlaid in the fiber glass on the back of the pieces so im sure its real. The car has more options added I didnt mention such as cross drilled rotors front and rear, navi has been updated, newer knock off 01+ stye tails. Oh and I will egt to those headlights Ill try to buff them otherwise I will replace them. Thanks for the comments guys.
