Need Help Re-Installing My Steering Wheel Air Bag Plugs
I removed my steering wheel 3 weeks ago to send out and have wood done to it.
Now that I got it back there's one plug that I can't remember where it goes.
I have a 2000 Gs400.
Here are pictures.
Can't remember where the plug with the clear clip goes.
There were three plugs.
1) One big white one that plugs in the upper center area.
2) The yellow one for the air bag.
3) The clear one that I can't figure out.
Any help would be much appreciated.

If you leave me your email address I can send you pictures. I don't have time to load them onto photobucket yet.
But yeah, you can send your steering wheel or any parts that are hard plastic and they can put wood on it. The place is called craftcustoms.com. Turn around time is two weeks and boy did it turn out good. I'd say better then stock. They also put new leather on it for you. They charge $500. It was worth it for me because I didn't want to loose my e-shift.

Is that mystery connector part of the steering wheel, or part of the clock spring assembly?
Are you certain you got back your original wheel or was your wheel just a core?
If I were you, I would plug in my airbag, start the car and test every single function on the wheel and steering column. Horn, eshift if you have it, make sure the airbag light goes out, headlights, wipers, cruise, titlt, etc. if everything works, you are good to go, if something does not work, you've then found what that connector is for...

One more thing i just remembered... The 2 access panels you have to remove in order to remove the airbag, the larger panel closest to the drivers door, when the wheel is centered also doubles as the mounting point for the steering wheel volume controls. I believe all cars are wired for the volume controls regardless of whether you have that feature or not. That may be the connector for the volume control and in that case, it would just be an empty plug., you just have to put it back and snap it into its holder.
Check out the wheel in this thread and youll see what i am talking about...
