Default Widest Rear Tire you can fit behind a GS400/430

Hi folks, what's the widest tire you can fit behind a GS400/GS430 with no modifications?

Can I stuff a 19x10 back there? What offset is recommended and tire size?

Drop will be 30mm if it matters

Thanks

Do you have a picture available?

I'm hoping to get a good understanding of what offsets work well. Also, are the fender lips on these cars rolled from the factory?

i'm running a 285/30r20 on a 20x10.5 with a +30 offset. so i'm sure you can fit a 295 tire if you're gonna run 19s

Hey folks, I've done a search on pics available and often people aren't stating the wheel size/offset and tire size.

It would be helpful to see some pics with the size noted

Well, you can definitely fit a 10" wide tire on the rear, and even wider, as long as you run a conservative offset on the wheel, so it all depends on the wheel offset. You should be alright with +38 or higher for sure. Regarding the fenders, Lexus doesn't roll their fenders, nor do any manufacturers for the most part, if at all. You need to get a fender rolling machine or be really good with a baseball bat placed between the tire and the fender.

Im running a +38 9.5 inch on the rear with some fat 295/40/18's, ( i got a killer deal on them so i had to buy them).. I was told on this site that they wouldnt fit, but they have a bout a centimeter between the fender (rolled) and the tire..slammed all the way down on Tein CM's. Once i burn through these, i'll put a 30 series tire on it for a better look, but they do fit. I hope they hook

Hey guys... I'm planning to get 19's but I don't want staggered rims. How low can I lower my car without causing rub or other issues? I'd appreciate any help. Thank you

I really like the look of the stock mesh wheels of the BMW. Bbs I think?! Does Nyone know if those rims will fit on a 99 gs400?
