300K miles
Ok my GS 400 has 300k car still runs flawless I am now running synthetic oil Mobile 1 only thing I notice is a little light blue smoke when I first crank her up in the morning plugs timing belt fuel pump all have all been changed what else should I worry about ..should I go ahead and locate me a 4.3 or have the 400 rebuilt or ride it till she die.

oil smoke on cold start, valve guides/seals (as said earlier)
oil smoke on decel, really bad valve guides/seals
oil smoke on accel, rings
300k is good life for a cyl head. Start planning on a rebuild and go another 300k....

is it too late to go to something thicker since I've been using the synthetic
