Default 300K miles

Ok my GS 400 has 300k car still runs flawless I am now running synthetic oil Mobile 1 only thing I notice is a little light blue smoke when I first crank her up in the morning plugs timing belt fuel pump all have all been changed what else should I worry about ..should I go ahead and locate me a 4.3 or have the 400 rebuilt or ride it till she die.
Thanks for any input

Looks like your valve seals or pistons rings are starting to go since blue smoke is an indication of burning oil.

300K, not too shabby though

Wow 300 miles that =480000km that is pretty cool seeing as how I have 325000km not miles. I know blue smoke is a bad sign but you also shouldn't be using synthetic oil with that kind of milage try a thicker oil not synthetic

Any items that have given you trouble over the years?

oil smoke on cold start, valve guides/seals (as said earlier)
oil smoke on decel, really bad valve guides/seals
oil smoke on accel, rings

300k is good life for a cyl head. Start planning on a rebuild and go another 300k....

What oil weight are you using? How much oil are you losing?
