I didn't realize this was the GS in the custom LS rear bumper thread.. shame as you just put in some hard work on that.
Yeah man just finished the bumper, the LED fogs, M45 projector retrofits with TSXR lenses.. ball joints, inner and outer tie rods, motor mounts, upper control arms... ahhhh.. not even a month ago. Sucks but guess it was meant to be.

Sorry to see this happen as well.. That was a serious hit.

One another note, a friend and I tried to save this car today. The insurance company auction was this morning, we bid on it quite a few times, there was only one other live bidder and was from florida. We stopped at $3000 and the florida bidder got it at $3100.

A car with damage like this aren't usually bid on much as most insurance auction cars are bought by used car dealers and body shops that feel they can do low cost repair fast and flip the car. Modified cars and damage ones like is when a small amount of people see the value in aftermarket parts and undamaged oem parts to buy and strip it then use/sell what parts are left.

Makes me wonder if the buyer is a CL member and also knew some of the great parts that were on this, like the air system, figs arms and links, modded front and rear bumpers, and the rear Wed's also looked undamaged. If anyone here did buy it, it was a good go, but after purchasing a Hunter DSP600 yesterday I didn't wanna get to crazy on buying it. Enjoy all those great parts!

Glad you walked away bro! Safety was indeed a priority when Toyota built these cars. It looks like the airbags deployed flawlessly even after 10 years which is past their warranty i think. Thank God you're alright.

The guys at IAAI said they were really surprised it went for that much.. I'm glad its character is going to live on. The back bumper was good, rear figs arms and toe links are good, back two weds are good apart from a little curb rash, the coils on bags are good, front bumper, front grill, front led fogs, the headlights with m45 retrofits have a tab or two broken but no damage to the lenses.. two Rockford amps are still good, the free air sub with baffles in the rear deck, driver side speakers should be good...led tails, chrome trunk bar, the lug nuts are the ones with the crystal at the ends, the front two tires have like 150 miles on it not to mention all the mechanical parts. Good buy no doubt.

It did go to Florida to an auto sales place and they did say they were going to do a vip car with all the parts, for who I don't know. If you are a CL member feel free to message me with any questions.. you got a ton of parts at a good price, glad its living on..
