Hawaii GS300
Hi guys, I've been lurking around the forums for a while now. I finally got my hands on a GS300 in August this year. It is a 2000 Spectra Blue Mica. Recently drove a 2001 IS300 but it was way too small and sporty. I wanted something a little bigger. Ive had a few nissan s13/14s, civics and a 2008 mazdaspeed 3. Hopefully repainting by the end of the month. I am still debating whether to respray the same color or go with something else. I have only seen two other Spectra Blue Mica on the island. Im from Oahu, Hawaii.
The interior was tan. First step was to clean the engine bay and start tearing the interior down to convert to black. It came with cut tein drop springs . I ended up buying stock suspension for the time being. I will let the pictures do the talking. I will upload them slowly hope you guys enjoy!
Here she is the day I got her. Also the trunk needs patching because the previous owner decided to drill holes for aftermarket spoiler Planning to shave the trunk lights. Excuse the oversized images. Please let me know if they are too big.
Previous owner put on Tein drop springs which were CUT.
First order of business, clean that engine bay! Please excuse the stick lol. Shock absorbers are dead
Time to restore those headlights….
Servo motor DIY on all four actuators thank you Club Lexus for saving me money! Lol
Back to stock suspension
Found this 93 UL LS400 for a GREAT deal I could not pass up! A month after i got the GS..
Teardown begins!!! Black interior here i come!

Thanks.
Thanks, just need a lot of time and patience. This is my daily so at one point I drove it gutted just the dash, steering wheel, center console and seats. Got a lot of stares on the freeway hahaha. Took me about a week to finish, I'm sure it could be done in a few days.*
Love them! They are padded so they are comfortable. I get a lot of compliments. I regret not spending a little more for diamond stitching. I might sell them in the future and buy another custom set this time. I just couldn't wait 10-12 weeks.

Thanks for the compliments guys.
Thanks, I love the color, the exterior took a lot of beating from rock chips. Especially the side doors and front bumper. The trunk also needs to be patched because of the holes the previous owner drilled for a spoiler. Im sure if I resprayed it the same color I will like it a lot more
Great to see another local member on here. I go to Chaminade University so I am always fighting traffic in the morning and afternoon daily. I will throw a Shaka next time I see you. Ive seen a few modded gs300s on the way home.
It's almost like installing regular seat covers only tighter, and takes a little longer. The headrests are a little tight, the center console is pretty tricky
