Rattle from top of dash on passengers side. - Need some details please........
When the weather got cooler this fall, I thought I had the center console rattle, but it turns out something is clicking on the passenger side of the dash. I determined this, because if you push down on the top of the dash above the glove compartment the noise will stop. This happens when going over the small bumps between concrete pavement slabs.
I would like to know
1.) If there is a specific TSIB for this rattle.
2.) If someone here has had it fixed successfully.
3.) Or if someone has cured this by themselves and how they fixed it.
thanks.

with 15,000 miles and 6-10 visits to the dealership, the problems still has not been solved. I've faxed in the TSIB and brought the paperwork and still no lunch. Maybe it's just my luck. It' s starting to make me think about aborting Lexus.

Not a helpful reply but did want to mention the irony of interior noise. That irony being that as they have insulated us from exterior noises over the years, the interior noises are now the ones that stand out and drive us crazy. Noises will always be present in one form or another, a car is made to bend & flex somewhat when necessary so if you apply basic engineering principles you'll understand why you get creeks and pops as you drive. We are just hearing them more because the exterior noise has been dampened so much. Of course this doesn't apply to the obvious rattles and creeks from loose parts (speakers, harnesses, ect).

You are comparing 2 diffrent types of cars. The RX has a softer suspension and smaller wheels and high profile tires vs. GS with sportier suspension & bigger wheels /low profile Run flat tires. Put that into the equation and you get road noise mostly coming from tires.

Read my post.
Also, I took my run flats off when the car was new and replaced them with the smoothest riding Michelins available.
