Default Headlights vibrating over bumps

I just bought my 07' gs350 last week and notice that at night while driving I can see the beam light vibrates if I hit a pot hole or bump. Is this normal for everyone here? I tried searching but didnt find anything on this subject.
My previous 07'is350 has the AFS also and it didnt vibrate or anything.

Yeah I've noticed that on my GS driving on bumpy or concrete pavement out here but haven't really paid much attention to it. It seems like there is extra play in the auto leveling feature. I'll have to mention that on my next service visit.

I have the same issue... but I don't know if I want to tell them. The fear of them messing up something that is not to important to me. lol

I've gotten use to it.

Question is...

Is it worth it for them to tear up your engine, remove the bumper and what else to go to it and check it out? Sounds like a mission and they might mess something up that wasn't... like a scratch on the bumper?!

So I guess its normal for the GS then, although its not suppose to do this. But I feel better knowing that mine wasn't the only one thats bouncing.

Its only my driver side, I can always open it up and look for myself. I bet the bulb or bulb holder is loose some how. That was the problem with my Civic that I had some Maxima projectors retrofitted into the headlights.

I'll look at it if its not too much work for you guys and report back.

Exaggerating a little with removal of the headlamp?

Any qualified body technician even a regular Lexus tech can remove that headlamp in a quick amount of time.

Pop off the clear plastic cover over the bulb and make sure the HID connector is locked in place. They can lossen over time. When this happens, it's not a secure fit, I had this exact thing happen to be before.
I opened the hood, TURN OFF YOUR LIGHTS FIRST!!!!, but check them make sure the connector is secure and tight.....

If it's tight and nothing changes, take it in, no idea.

Who knows what these techs actually know. Yes some of them do know what they are doing while others are slow and clumsy. Removing the headlight is one thing, but damaging the bumper or whatever else in the process will be a PITA for me.

If the techs didn't know what they were doing, you would see alot of damage from Lexus and other service facilities.

If you're careful and patient, anything is possible.

No issues with the headlights on my GS. The only movement I see is the side movement when I am making a turn.

mine does it, my old BMW did it. My 02 IS300 didn't and neither does the 03 C-class.

I've always noticed it on my GS, usually when going over RR tracks.
