Default finally installed springs for AWD..

probably i'm the only one or one of few who installed tein s-tech on AWD. i didn't choose the tanabe because i just wanted little more drop on the front. i have lowered all my cars in the past without any issues, and to me, springs are springs, it is just matter of how low you wanna go imo.

ride looks really great, this is the how the car should look in first place!!! (finally got rid of the 4X4 look..) feels almost like stock eventhough you can feel little more bumps...

my concern is that i have a vibration issue while car's standing still or under 'slow acceleration' between 10 to 20 mph. between 10 to 20 mph, my car almost shakes, and obviously this doesn't seem right. i'm still rolling on stocks since i just found out there's a fitment issue with my new wheels.. what a day...

i remember few owners here addressed the same issue and resovled it somehow? Considering i paid 4 times more just to have these installed from the professional shop, maybe i can go back and get this fixed somehow??
any inputs will be appreciated, thx..

its a 50/50 shot with the awd drive gs. no one currently makes a spring for it so its a chance you have to take. i havent heard of anyone fixing the problem other than just putting the stock springs back on.

that's a bold move you made man, i played the safer route and ordered my NF210s a week ago, still waiting on them. I do wish the drop was a little lower in the front, I got a little restless thinking about that... and started wondering hmm... what if i cut the front springs just a LITTLE bit?? o_0

i wouldnt suggest on doing that. see if the spring is a progessive or lineral spring first.

ah come on Kev, we don't want to be punished with a 4x4 look just because we choose to live with snow in the winter!

plus, many of us have SUVs and/or other vehicles for the really bad winter days!

yeah, i don't have the tanabe, but i don't really get this.. it seems like the vibration is connected with the engine's movement (you know how the engine moves left & right under acceleration). it almost feels like i have an engine damper, how vibration is transferred through the cabin.

I'm running the Tanabe springs on my 07 GS350 AWD with the exact same symptoms. I had a number of Lexus Corporate Field Techs look at the car with no luck. It has to do with the position of the halfshafts, and the angle. They did say that if I didn't mind the vibration the problem would not increase or damage the car. The only fix is to have the car put back to stock. Sorry.
