back to stock springs...vibration
well yesterday i went to jersey to my boys shop and put my stock springs back on. the idle vibration is gone but i believe that something is still vibrating. the vibration is very low because now i am on stock springs. its like almost not there, i am lost and don't know what to do anymore. i took the car today in the morning to the dealership and took a test drive with the tech. he goes to me i feel what you are talking about but its normal with the AWD gs. i told him no it cant be normal, so he took me back to the lot and got me in what ever he had there which was an 06 gs350 AWD. i drove the car on the highway and it seems to have the same vibration on certain speeds on the highway. it left me with nothing to say. he did mention that i had a flat spot on one of my tires and he moved it to the back a month or so ago. what should i do someone help.. would a road force help them see that my rims and tires are perfect?

Damn man you been battling this for a while now. I guess if you want to lower the car that bad (which I would too) either deal with the vibration or sell the car and get a RWD.
I think you have gone through every avenue to get this fixed. Good luck with whatever you decide.

I have been battling with a small steering wheel vibration on the GS300 with 18 inch rims for over 1 year with 4 sets of tires and 3 new 18 inch GS430 rims, which helped little. The new recall that replaced the Steering rack system resolved 99% of the vibration. I might be a bit sensitive to touching the steering wheel but its near perfect right now. The Gs are very prone to this and their steering system in my opinion sucks and cannot tolerate big rims and in the long run become junk. I cannot wait to get my new 2009 Audi A6 with the 3.0T supercharger engine. Nice car overall. Hope u find the problem, but to be honest once the car starts to have this in the steering wheel, its there for good and can be minimized but cannot be eliminated completely.
