I just came back from the dealer and the parts dude said the intake for the
IS350 is the same as the GS350. I took it out to the car and it matched perfectly at first glance. He said it is the same model #. Is this true??

Is it possible to fit an IS-F F-Sport Intake in a 2006 Lexus GS430? I think modifying the pipe to make it fit would work. Looking at how the Lexus GS350 intake is configured (near the driver) versus the IS-F and GS430/460 (towards the front of the engine)...
I can't seem to find any of this by searching the forum so can you please link if possible? Thanks

The IS-F has a dual intake design, it has a regular intake during regular acceleration and when u are WOT and floor it, the secondary intake opens.
There is no way to get ANY GS sounding like the IS-F. It has a 5.0 Liter Yamaha tuned V-8. It sound sound magnificent.
That said, ANYTHING can be done, just have to have the time and money to do it. Good luck.

It should be the same. The airbox top and piping are the same with the IS350/GS350. The only difference is that the IS lower airbox is a little different in overall shape than the GS.

I dont know which one it voids, the car's warranty or the part's warranty. Thanks
