Default Headlight problem

So I just installed 6000k D4S on and everytime start the car, I drive for a bout few minutes, my left headlight turns off and I had to turn the dial off and then back to auto and it comes it comes back on again and. It does this everytime at the beginning of the drive but doesnt do it later on. I checked the wires and everything and It seems fine. Any ideas?

Hmm.....I will say maybe the quality of those bulbs........or many you did not install them properly. I had the similar problem before but after I re-install them they were fine.

it is the bulb....you can swap side to side, and it will probably do the same on the other side.

Kyang - Do you have any idea what you did differently on the reinstall? My D4S swap on the driver's side has a very slight flicker to it and I'm wondering if it might just be a little loose.

Seems to be a common problem with non-oem bulbs. When the time comes I plan to stick with what works as I have no problem with the colour or light output of them.

where is everyone getting their oem bulbs besides from the dealer who charges and arm and leg for the bulb? I just had a terrible experience with one of the online vendors. They advertised oem philips bulbs but sent some aftermarket non marked hids. bait and switch. If i wanted aftermarket, I could have gotten them a lot cheaper. bait and switch. Although I did find an honests online dealer, just curious where everyone else is getting theirs.

ebay is a good place to find oem bulbs...you can check classifieds here since many people yank their oem and put in 6k 8k or whatever crazy color they want

Never a problem with aftermarket bulbs here. Fires up same time and every time, never one flicker. Running MobileHID's 6K bulbs for years.

Thanks. I got mine from HID concept which i think they sell on ebay also. The first vendor charged me 25% restocking fee for something I didn't even open because it was aftermarket. They're refusing to give me full refund so i'm disputing with my cc.
