and the verdict...i decided to tip.

just had these tips installed this afternoon. too dark to take good pics by the time i got my car back, so i'll take some pics either tomorrow or the following day on how they look installed.

i want to thank freddie at SR Auto Group (http://www.srautogroup.com/) for getting these tips to me fast!

they are certainly no cheap *** tips, that's for sure! believe me, i've looked at the cheaper tips that you can pick up at a muffler shop or automotive parts store. nothing that floated my boat, so to speak. also considered tips from other makes (eg: porsche tips), but it somehow didn't feel right to install those on the GSh (sorta like how some guys won't allow wheels from an infiniti be installed on a 3GS, that kind of idea). decided on the wald oval 120, and i'm glad i did. as you can see from the pics, these are quality tips. they are pricey, but well worth it imho.

For what WALD is asking, you can actually get custom fabricated TIG welded titanium tips (yes they do exist) with enough left over for a tank of gas.
you're comparing wald to this?

sorry, but i'm going to have to disagree with you on that one. and maybe you know someone who can custom fabricate TIG welded titanum tips, but I don't know of any shops in my area that can do that. and it's not the kind of look i'm going for in any event. titanium tips (imho) are more for sports/race cars than vip styled cars.

Look great. I'm keen to see the pics installed. Are these tips much bigger than the stock ones?

I think these tips are great. You get the look of an after market exhaust with none of the droning. How much did they go for???? WHere did you get them
