Default Aluminum Pedals

I'm shopping for aluminum pedals, and ran across these on ebay.

They are made in China, so I'm a little concerned about quality, fit, etc. Has anyone bought these or know of another supplier of aluminum pedals for our car?

I realize these have those rubber nubs on them but something still tells me at the back of my mind that the original ones are probably better for driving, if not looking at.

"Drilling is needed" would have scared me off... I hate mods that you can't reverse without buying new parts again.

Thanks, Mike. Glad to hear that they pass muster. I searched "aluminum pedals" but didn't turn up anything useful before I posted.

I hear you on the drilling, Jay. Not wild about that either, but not a major biggie to me.

I also turned these up. Triple the price, but they appear top-notch quality with 12 choices of finish and grip type. They also come drilled with no pads, which I prefer.

This would be my choice from this vendor (Ultimate Pedals):

I think the first set look better. Here's a pic off the SC430 board of those pedals installed.

I think the ultimate pedals may technically be better, but they will look out of place in a Lexus.

I agree. I liked these as they were similar to the Sport Pedals for the IS. Looks some what OEM.

This is not my car or my install. I just posted the pics from another forum member. Its relevant because it is the same kit as the one CAK500 is referring to.

The guy who did this is a moderator on the forum by the username pearlpower.

See this thread for more instructions.

Well, I got my new pedals today. The good news is that they are very good quality. The bad news is that they don't FIT.

They are advertised as fitting the GS350, but only the brake and parking brake pedals are the right size. The gas pedal is wayyyy to small, and the footrest is too big. They are also supposed to fit the IS200 IS300 GS300 GS450 and ES300. Do all of these vehicles really have the same pedals?

I contacted the vendor in Singapore, Car-gym, and will keep everyone posted on what they have to say.

Looks like the gas pedal cover in that kit is only suitable to the AWD pedal.

I went by the description and figured the picture they used was generic. Still no word from them.
