Thumbs up B-pillar Install

This was a great TSIB you al should try to do this if your side pillars are screwed up, the replacement looks better, I will take pictures when I get off of work cause I think they look simple and better, I really thought they might use plastic but its the same soft leather type its just changed shape.

anyone get the b-pillar replaced when the original wasn't scratched up much?

my GS's current B-pillar aren't marked, but it'd be nice to replace w/ a re-designed piece as a "just-in-case"

yeah you can but you will have to ask your advisor for a courtesy replacement, becuase it is only covered under the 4 year factory warranty but they should be able to cover it.

The one on my drivers side is messed but basic warranty is out and I'm not the first owner so I never even bothered asking about it. Hopefully I can source a decent replacement even of the "old style" ones someday.

Yeah I tried to save it for ya but when I asked my service rep. he said they need them back for this to count as a warranty replacement. Sorry man I did try.

Yes the one located at the center, where the seat belt and everything else gets snagged on.

Here are the pics I promised.

Actually I moved it back so that everyone could see the change the old one has that indent and this one doesn't and apparently its on all the new GS's so I'm good with this one FREE! is my price.

Couple of hundred dollars per side, maybe going on close to 300 each side last time I asked. Probably cheaper in the US but not by much.

So the short answer is, way way way too much. But so is every other piece of trim.
