Default If you ever wondered...(GS with LFA wheels)

The thread in the vendor section with LFA replica wheels got me to thinking about what they would look like on a 3GS. Those rims are, IMO, some of the most beautiful that I've ever laid eyes on and I am thinking a 3GS will probably be my next car, so it's only logical for the mind to wonder...

HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!! rims are nice but IMHO they look way oversized for the GS. Its like throwing 28's on the GS that would be an overdue.

the real LFA wheels are 20". Getting a set of those would be pretty hard to do

The replicas in the vendor section will be 19"

I think it looks fantastic. What is killing me is that its a BBS replica made in China. I think this same company sells LM knock-offs with the BBS emblem.

With that said (I really like these wheels, the price, how they look and Manaray please forgive me if I order) I really like them. Can't wait to see gunmetal.

good lfa pics are hard to find.

finally found some good enough pics......

that said, i don't think the lfa wheels are best fit for this car. they're alright. but you can do better.

These are 20. but 19's should look big enough:

Thanks DJ. I like them. Thing is they are a very open space wheel so brakes will need to be looking good as well. The GS is a "big body" style and thin split spokes don't really work (think SSR GT3s) but these wider and thicker spokes work better to me eyes.

Can you or anyone do gunmetal?

Nice chop, DJ. I think 19"s would work well once lowered, but my taste is more conservative than most.

Oh I thought of what you would say too

I can't wait to call BBS tomorrow....

Me-"hey its me again with another odd question again, yeah there is a company knocking off your LFA wheel and well, some of us kind of like, so how much will it cost to make a real LFA wheel for GS fitments"

BBS-"give me a sec......(Hey Marty that Lexus guy is on the phone again, he's asking about LFA wheels and can we make and sell)....
(you mean for the 375k supercar? he wants those wheels)
(yeah Marty, cocaine is a helluva drug)
(probably around $2500 a wheel and that's being nice, do we have facechat, I want to see him **** on himself)

BBS-yeah, Mike, at least $2500 a wheel to make
weird sound
BBS-you okay
Me-"I just ****ted on myself, thanks for your time"
