Default Rattle/squeak/chirp/creak/click free... AT LAST!

Took a while, but the day has finally arrived... NO MORE noises to suffer from!

- Instrument panel rattle - fixed with felt
- Ventilation cowl squeak - fixed with felt
- Dashboard chirp - fixed with felt
- Central console creak - fixed with felt
- Driver's seat click - fixed by Lexus today...

My car is 22 months/32,000 miles old but now feels NEWER than new

So glad I found this forum to guide me (plus had the nerves) taking the car apart and fix those issues by myself (OK, except the seat which Lexus sorted...)

Thanks!

Haven't taken any, because I relied on photos already in this forum. There are quite detailed explanations for removing all parts. I haven't removed the dash but used the well proven 'stuffed felt' solution which - in my case - solved the problem 100%.

Any specific question on how to sort any of the above (except the seat, which I have no idea what Lexus done) - I'm willing to help!

i have the same issue with the left/right of my dash making a slight creaking noise. i guess its due to the rigidity of the car? who knows, i would love for it to be fixed

I'll take some photos tomorrow and try to explain further.
Almost two years later & 13,000 miles more - still no rattles.

The only slight tick I hear in my 460 is the driver's side seat belt unit, just to the left of my ear. All I do is turn up the tunes, problem fixed

Just got mine back from the dealer. I had a windshield area squeak and a rattle in the instrument cluster area. Fixed under warranty. Like a new car again.

Took my 2007 RX350 as I noticed the dashboard on the left seemed loose when I pushed on it, and is squeaking. I did get in a minor accident on that side so they told me to take it back where I got it fixed as the dashboard may have shifted in the accident. Lexus said they would need at least (10) hours to take apart the dash and look through it..
